Run Free Fairlie has two secure fields on the Ayrshire coast, with access from the A78 between Largs and Irvine. This site offers the choice of woodland or open spaces, with wide views across the Clyde. See the facilities listed under the field description for full details.

Directions
From the A78 take the road signposted for Dalry at the Catch at Fins restaurant. Continue up the hill on the moor road and Run Free is situated on the right before the cattle grid.

Fairlie Fields
Seaview Woodland
Woodland field
A peaceful, enclosed woodland space with natural shade and plenty of sensory enrichment. Dogs can explore the scents and textures of the undergrowth and chase through the trees. The field has a shelter, picnic table, water, poo bags and bins.
Seaview Woodland is set on the moor with beautiful sea views towards Millport and beyond. A small mown area opens into natural woodland, creating a wonderful setting for adventurous dogs.
Please note that this field uses the deer fencing from when the trees were planted. This means that the mesh has larger 6”x4” gaps and may not be suitable for smaller dogs. The field is visible from the other Fairlie field so might not suit everyone.

Moor Field
Open grassy field
A large open grassy space designed for dogs who love to run. Perfect for recall training, ball play or relaxed walks in a safe enclosed environment. The open layout gives clear visibility without obstacles. The field has a shelter, picnic table, water, poo bags and bins.
Moor Field is in the middle of moorland with wonderful views across the Clyde towards Millport and beyond. The wide views make this field feel especially spacious. Please note that the field is visible from the other Fairlie field so might not suit everyone.
