Newbattle Field
Newbattle Field is our newest field at Dalkeith, and is beyond the other two fields. It’s a spacious field with lots of room for zoomies, games and exploration. Perfect for dogs who enjoy being active.
Junior field
Junior Field is next to the car park and is screened from the car park and adjacent field. The far end of the field is gated as puddles can form there, but you’re welcome to open the gate if your dogs enjoy the water.
Moor Field
Moor Field is in the middle of moorland with wonderful views across the Clyde towards Millport and beyond. The wide views make this field feel especially spacious.
Fairlie
Run Free Fairlie has one secure field on the Ayrshire coast, with access from the A78 between Largs and Irvine. This site is ideal for a quieter visit, with wide views across the Clyde and a relaxing open feel. See the facilities listed under the field description for full details.
Tay Field
Tay Field is the larger of the Perth fields. A secure field with plenty of space for dogs to run, explore and enjoy being off lead.

Philipstoun Field
Philipstoun Field is the larger of the two Winchburgh fields and is L-shaped. This field offers plenty of room for movement, play and those all-important zoomies.
Kip Field
Kip Field is a gently sloping with lovely views across the hills. A secluded spot where dogs can enjoy their own space without interruption. Ideal for quieter visits or dogs who like a calmer setting.
Inverkip
Run Free Inverkeithing has one secure field in Fife, with access from the M90. This site is ideal for undisturbed off lead exercise, with a quiet and practical layout. See the facilities listed under the field description for full details.
Balmore Field
Balmore Field is a set in a quiet rural spot. It’s a private setting for quieter sessions, ideal for dogs who prefer a little more space and privacy.
Milngavie
Run Free Milngavie has one secure field on the edge of Glasgow, with access from the A81. This site is ideal for quieter visits, with a more private rural feel close to the city. See the facilities listed under the field description for full details.
Broad Field
Broad Field is one of our largest fields and is close to the Inchinnan car park. A lovely big open space designed for both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
Queens field
Queens Field is on the left as you enter the Kingseat site. Set in agricultural fields, it’s a calm setting that gives dogs space to settle and relax.
Kingseat
Run Free Kingseat has two secure fields in Fife, with easy access from Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath and the M90. This site is ideal for a quieter visit, with open countryside surroundings. See the facilities listed under each field for full details and to help you choose the right space for your dog.
Lower Field
Lower Field sits below Beech Field, with screening between the fields for privacy. It has its own separate entrance and car park. Lots of open ground for dogs who love to run.
Newton Field
Newton Field has several large trees providing shade and lots for dogs to explore. A quiet corner of the countryside where dogs can enjoy freedom without distractions.
South Queensferry
Run Free South Queensferry has one secure field just off the M90 near the Queensferry Crossing, with easy access from Edinburgh and Fife. This site is ideal for a quiet visit in a countryside setting. See the facilities listed under the field description for full details.
Anguston Field
Anguston Field operates with the VSA farm, so members of the public may be on paths around the field. There is some screening, but the field may not suit all reactive dogs. There is around a 100 metre walk from the car park to the field.
Peterculter

Jumbo Field
Jumbo Field is one of our largest fields. It’s around 100 metres from the car park, so please keep your dogs on lead until safely inside the field. Lots of room to roam makes this a brilliant choice for energetic dogs.
Eskbank Field
Eskbank Field is a spacious field that works well for all energy levels. Great for active play and slower paced sessions.
Lochend Field
A flexible field suitable for all kinds of dogs. Set in a rural location, it’s easy to enjoy whether your visit is active or relaxed.

The Freedom Field is a spacious, slightly sloping field with plenty of privacy. With plenty of space for dogs to run and explore, it’s a great choice for active dogs who love room to move.

Mauchline Field is gently sloping. The car park is around 10 metres from the gate with plenty of space to park. The field is screened by hedges and by shade netting.
Kilmarnock
Run Free Kilmarnock has two secure fields in Ayrshire, with access from the A76 and M77. This site is ideal for private exercise and training, with good separation between fields for privacy. Kilmacolm Field
Kilmacolm Field is gently undulating with several trees giving plenty of interesting places to sniff and run. The car park is around 30 metres from the gate.
Big Field
Big Field is the largest Run Free field, with a very large gently sloping area for dogs to explore. A solid wooden fence on one side prevents dogs seeing into the nearby Activity Field. There is a 10 metre walk from the car park to the field.
Cathkin Field
Cathkin Field is a large field, roughly the size of a football pitch. There’s plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs. A great place for energetic dogs or longer sessions outdoors.
Arches Field
Arches Field is a gently sloping field surrounded by trees. A peaceful field with lots of room to move around. The large car park is fenced and gated so can be used as an all weather option.
Clyde Field
Clyde Field is surrounded by trees and has stunning views across the Clyde. There is a short walk through the trees from the car park to reach the field. There is no water supply so please bring your own water.
Country Field
Country Field is designed to feel like natural open countryside. It includes small trees and uneven ground in places, giving dogs a large area to explore. There is a short, 4ft-fenced path from the loading bay to the gate.
Elsrickle Field
Elsrickle Field is free draining and gently sloping, with car parking beside the entrance. Its rural setting with open views give the field a really peaceful feel.
Lawmuir Field
Lawmuir Field is on the right as you enter Lawmuir Farm. It’s on a gentle slope facing Glasgow, with the wide views across the city making it feel even more open and spacious.

Run Free Cardross has one secure field near the Clyde coast, with access from the A814 via Helensburgh and Dumbarton. Meadow Field
Meadow Field is a great place to enjoy quality time with your dog. Spacious, secure and designed for relaxed outdoor visits. There’s a walk of approximately 70 metres from the car park to the field.
Biggar
